MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

The 2025 Christmas Display Season

This is our 49th year. As the Christmas Display grows in age, so have we. Our Christmas light display is much smaller in the amount of lights and the height of the lights. However, it is just as beautiful, and for those who are new to the Christmas Display, you will likely be impressed with the extravagance of Christmas lights to be enjoyed.
The Christmas Display includes a 23x13 foot Lake George and Bolder Train layout, bubbles galore from our alley bubble machine, old fashion Christmas music and a brief but wonderful presentation from Evangelist Billy Graham and Rev Charles Stanley on the real meaning of Christmas. On cold nights we also have a fire pit in the driveway to be enjoyed. The yard is no longer open to the public but many items have been expanded to the outer perimeter of the yard for easy viewing.
In the past, we have been among the world’s best home christmas displays (to our knowledge). We have had the honor of being featured first in HGTV's All Out Christmas, People Magazine and NBC's Today Show—Top 3 in the USA. HSN listed us as among the best displays in the USA. We have also been featured on Nick News, Ron and Ron Christmas Special, Nickelodeon, Univision, CBS, CBN's The 700 Club, and numerous newspapers and TV stations from Europe to Chicago. We are very grateful.

STATISTICS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS
The statistics vary from year to year as changes are made to the display. Information listed here are the
highest numbers we have had over the past 49 years. Display began 1977.
Size of the display-app. ½ acre. Tallest Christmas tree light array app. 70 feet.
Roof of house had 4 giant Christmas trees made of lights. Our largest total number of lights for one year (incl. Fiber optics) was 609,751.
We had app. 700 moving and animated objects. There have been many display cabinets over the years as can be seen in the picture/video links.
Three electric meters. Largest electric bill was nearly $5000. Many of the lights were computerized to music and flashing to help save money. There have been many items
for both children and adults to play with including a bubble machine. We have had 2 outdoor TV
presentations, plus several inflatables. The Manger scene once included more than 150 pieces. Also two large
mirrored balls gave a snowflake-effect. Within the yard was a beautiful 18 train, HO scale railroad with 16
carnival rides. The display also included a talking and dancing life-size snowman, an animated-talking Teddy bear,
a singing Christmas tree and “Ernie”, a tight rope balancing bear.
The real reason we celebrate Christmas is to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, Who is Come in the Flesh.

It all began in 1977 with a modest light display, increasing to about 6,200 lights in 1980. By 1989, it had grown to app 60,000 lights. Gradually it grew to over ½ million lights (incl. fiber optics). It would normally take a crew of about 8 to 15 people nearly 3 months to install, requiring roughly 12 truck loads to bring all the items from other storage areas. However, due to health issues, death, or merely moving on in life, the Christmas Display in this 2025 season, only had 2 workers.

THE BIBLE
God’s Word tells us:

2 Tim 3:16-ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD, AND IS PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE, FOR REPROOF, FOR CORRECTION, FOR INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS. 2 Pe 1:20, 21-KNOWING THIS FIRST, THAT NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION. FOR THE PROPHECY CAME NOT IN OLD TIME BY THE WILL OF MAN: BUT HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE AS THEY WERE MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST.

Many believe they are saved. They may base this on their feelings, on a lack of understanding God’s Word, or on the fact that they belong to a certain church that may tell them they are saved. They may make comments such as, "I am a good person, a preacher, I believe in God, sing in the choir, and give money to the church."

This all sounds good, but it is not based on Biblical knowledge. Understand, the issue is not whether you know Jesus, but rather—does Jesus know you?-ref Mt 25:12. The Word of God (the Bible) SHALL JUDGE (you) IN THE LAST DAY-Jn 12:48. Many hope when they die it will turnout alright, and they will go to a better place. Yet the Bible teaches that the majority will perish.

God loves you and cares about you. FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE-Jn 3:16. By nature, man is sinful—FOR ALL HAVE SINNED-Ro 3:23. Your sins have separated you from God—BUT YOUR INIQUITIES HAVE MADE A SEPARATION BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR GOD-Isa 59:2.

You cannot earn your way to heaven by your behavior or good works—ALL OUR RIGHTEOUS DEEDS ARE LIKE A FILTHY GARMENT-Isa 64:6. NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH WE HAVE DONE, BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED US-Tit 3:5.

Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah, is God’s only provision for the sins of mankind. Through Him, you may receive forgiveness for your sins and understand God’s purpose for your life. Jesus is the LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD-Jn 1:29. He died for you—WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US-Ro 5:8. Jesus shed His blood to pay our sin debt in full—IN WHOM WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, EVEN THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS-Col 1:14. For it is written, AND WITHOUT SHEDDING OF BLOOD IS NO REMISSION-Heb 9:22. FOR IT IS THE BLOOD THAT MAKETH AN ATONEMENT FOR THE SOUL-Lev 17:11.

Jesus rose from the dead—HE WAS BURIED…HE WAS RAISED ON THE THIRD DAY ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES….HE APPEARED TO CEPHAS, THEN TO THE TWELVE. AFTER THAT HE APPEARED TO MORE THAN FIVE HUNDRED BRETHREN AT ONE TIME-1 Cor 15:4-6. Jesus is the only way to God—Jesus said: I AM THE WAY, AND THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE; NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER, BUT THROUGH ME-Jn 14:6.

The Bible teaches that you must be BORN-AGAIN-Jn 3:3. This indicates change. A change must take place in your life, which affects what you think, your attitude and what you do. A person must repent (turn away from their sins) and receive Jesus Christ by faith, as their only way of salvation. It says in Jn 1:12, BUT AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM (Jesus), TO THEM GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME. After repenting and believing on Jesus, a person is commanded to be baptized by full immersion.

We all need to ask ourselves—"If I died today or Jesus returned, am I ready?"

If you believe Jesus the Messiah is God’s only begotten Son and died for your sins and rose from the dead, and if you will repent, then I invite you to kneel and ask Him to be YOUR Lord and Savior right now.

Say this prayer: DEAR JESUS, I AM A SINNER. I BELIEVE YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD AND DIED FOR MY SINS ON THE CROSS. FORGIVE ALL OF MY SINS. JESUS, I REPENT. I ASK YOU TO HAVE MERCY ON ME, A SINNER, AND COME INTO MY LIFE. GIVE ME YOUR SPIRIT AND YOUR POWER. HELP ME TO FOLLOW AND OBEY YOUR COMMANDMENTS, AND TO LIVE FOR YOU. JESUS, I GIVE YOU MY LIFE. THANK YOU FOR HEARING MY PRAYER. THANK YOU FOR COMING INTO MY LIFE. I ASK IT IN THE NAME OF MY LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. AMEN.

IF YOU JUST SAID THAT PRAYER AND MEANT IT---we recommend you begin reading your Bible every day faithfully—5 or more chapters a day. Begin with the Gospel of John and read it through three times. Next go to Matthew and read the New Testament through three times. Then begin reading the entire Bible in order, beginning with Genesis. As God opens up His Word to you, obey it. Be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only, deceiving yourself-ref Ja 1:22. As you are faithful, God will open your understanding of His Word more and more. Find a good Bible-teaching church that teaches all of God’s Word, including sound doctrine, both the fear of God and the love of God, heaven and the lake of fire, Bible prophecy and the Revelation, not just stories about worldly things. They should also love and support Israel and the Jewish people.

Attend fellowship regularly and get baptized. Water baptism is a command-ref Acts 2:48, and is to be done only after a person repents and believes on Jesus Christ-ref Mk 16:16; Acts 2:38; by full immersion-ref Ro 6:4 and Col 2:12; in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost-ref Mt 28:19.
